Scrum is a deceptively simple framework and you will quickly learn about its roles, artefacts and process. However, its adaptive nature and impact on traditional organisational models and ways of working requires a fundamental grasp of the underlying principles for a truly successful implementation.
16 February3 days, 10:00 AM GMT - 04:00 PM GMT
We have taken our 2 day course and reinvented it for online, with plenty of interaction and practical content. There will be regular breaks for tea and coffee and to stretch your legs.
Many organisations are adopting Agile approaches to improve their software development capability, following the lead of the path-finding Internet era companies who have shown the way to rapid innovation and dominance in their market spaces. This 3-day course provides a great foundation for anyone adopting Scrum, the most popular Agile framework.
We put theory into practice in a number of exercises and simulations which are both enjoyable and instructive.

What do I need to take part in this course?
The most obvious thing you will need is a good WiFi and Internet connection with a nice quiet environment for you to both hear and also interact with your fellow course attendees and us lovely trainers! Don't worry about the odd child/dog/cat/partner wondering past or interrupting occasionally, we'll just roll with it 🙂
We recommend a laptop or desktop with good sound and microphone. Course participants have struggled on phones and tablets. We will be using Zoom for the video conference functionality with a waiting room and password configured to provide a reasonable level of security. If you can, we recommend installing the Zoom app on your device but the web version should work as a plan B.
Reading the two materials is required, as they'll be referenced in the course but only covered in passing. If you've read them before we'd recommend you re-read or at least skim them before the course to refresh your memory.
