A one day introduction to #NoEstimates and #NoProjects. Learn to apply the digital-first tools that help you deliver more value in less time. From breaking down 9 month projects to 30 minutes, to learning to reduce investment risks. In this workshop you will learn how to transform your product development.
As a player of the Agile Fluency™ Game, you take on the role of a team adopting Agile for the first time. The team’s challenge is deciding how to spend its limited time. Do you develop features or learn new Agile practices? Which features? Which practices? Features are the only way to earn points, but Agile practices help you deliver more.
“When will it be done?” “How many items will I get in the next release?” “When will all of the items in the backlog be completed?” Those are some of the first questions that your customers will ask you once you start work for them.
This course deals with two important questions: why should I choose agile? How can I implement it? More specifically we will explore the frameworks available and discuss which ones you should consider based on your needs. Jose Casal, BCS’s Agile Foundations lead creator, will answer these questions over 2 days, leaving you with a much better understanding of agile and its principles.
Kanban uses a probabilistic approach to management. A Kanban Management Professional (KMP) knows how to make better decisions and streamline internal workflows to improve service delivery and create greater customer satisfaction. On this follow-on course KMPs receive specialized training in applying the Kanban Method for better risk management and greater agility to improve management results enterprise-wide.
The Kanban Method is a set of principles and practices that have been observed in successful Kanban initiatives worldwide. It was developed by David J Anderson (Lean Kanban, Inc CEO) in collaboration with the global community of Kanban enthusiasts, coaches and trainers. The Kanban Method was published in 2010.
Professional Scrum with Kanban (PSK) is a 2-day course that teaches Scrum practitioners how to apply Kanban practices to their work. Through theory, case studies, and hands-on exercises, participants will understand the importance of transparency and flow as it pertains to the Scrum framework. Scrum.org have worked with Daniel Vacanti author of Actionable Agile Metrics for Predictability in the creation of this course.
